    When you submit a quote request or use our cost estimator, we collect:

    • Your name and email address (required)
    • Your phone number and postcode (optional)
    • Project details you choose to share (size, type, budget, message)

    We also collect minimal technical data (browser type, pages visited) for analytics purposes. We do not use intrusive tracking cookies.

    3. How we use your data

    • To pass your enquiry to relevant installers so they can respond with quotes
    • To follow up on your enquiry where appropriate
    • To improve the directory and our cost estimates

    Our legal basis is your consent (given when you submit a form) and our legitimate interest in operating the directory.

    We share your enquiry details only with the installers relevant to your request. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with marketing companies.

    5. How long we keep it

    Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months so we can handle follow-up questions and disputes. After that they are deleted or anonymised.

    • Object to or restrict our processing of it
